Rally is one of the most popular kinds of the motorsports, which takes place on the roads for public use. The rally consists of two main sections of road – the high-speed (racing) section and the section which is used to shift between the high-speed sections. Referees control the high-speed sections and the purpose of participants is to cover them in the shortest time, whereby on the shifting sections, the crews must follow traffic rules, as they move along with the ordinary drivers.
It is difficult for the spectators to cheer on the rally because the high-speed sections may be distanced of each other dozens of miles and they can watch their favorite crew only at one turn.
The classes in the Georgia Rally Championship are divided as follows:
- 1600cc engine vehicle class
- Absolute Class
