Georgian racing team takes podium places in Lamborghini racing series

On December 1-5 ART Line Team with racers – Harald Schlegelmilch and Shota Abkhazava took part in Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe Series in Valencia, Spain. On December 1-2 was held final VI stage of Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe 2016.

In PRO class Harald Schlegelmilch could take Champion title ( he was 6 points behind the leader ) , but car setup was not in good condition and he took 3rd place, in overall class 2nd place after Dennis Lind from Denmark.

The same problem was in amateur class with Shota Abkhazava, because of this he took 6th place on 1st race and 11th on 2nd race, in overall 4th place.
ART Line Team took 3rd place (from 17 teams) in team classification.
On December 3-4, on the same track was held Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo World Final where participated the fastest racers from European, North America and Asia Series.

PRO Class:
Harald Schlegelmilch – 2nd place on both qualifications.
On 1st race he had good start , but after accident with Dennis Lind he was on last position with 40sec behind the leader, but anyway he crossed finish line on 4th position.

2nd race was with difficult weather condition (rain), in spite of car’s wrong setup he got 4th position again.

Amateur Class:
Shota Abkhazava – 3rd place on 1st and 2nd qualification .
After good start on 1st race he took 1st position on 1st lap but finished race on 3rd position.

2nd race started with Safety Car, because of heavy rain and continued 10 min, after that race began. On Restart Shota Abkhazava took 2nd place and after became leader during whole race, but close to finish competitors became faster and he got 3rd place.

THE 2017 SEASON OF THE SUPER TROFEO HAS BEEN SCHEDULED
THE LAMBORGHINI WORLD FINAL WILL BE AT IMOLA
