Georgian Champion in European Touring series was awarded by Italian Touring star Gabriele Tarquini. The Awards Ceremony – “Motorsports Awards” with a host of sport TV “Eurosport” was held in Paris. Data Kajaia is the first Georgian racer , who become Champion in ETCC . He won 9 races from 12 and ahead his rival with 49 points.
Data’s driving skills was appreciated by the chief of German team ” Tim Engstler” , the Touring class star – Franz Engstler , who invited Georgian racer to participated in TCR from next season. For Data It will be next step forward in Motorsport .
On “Motorsport Awards” were attended FIA president Jean Todt and Vito Ippolito the president of International Motosport Federation . On Ceremony were awarded winners in ETCC, WTCC , ERC , also on ceremony was attended WTCC 3rd place winner and 9 times Champion in Rally – Sebastian Loeb.
