On Belgium track SPA Francorchamps was held Lamborghini mono series Blancpain Super Trofeo IV stage , where in amateur class ( its only three classes – Professionals, semi-professionals and amateurs) participated one of the best Georgian drivers Shota Abkhazava .
Abkhazava won one race from two , on second race he took 4th place and strengthened in qualification the leading position. First race was held in dry weather. He started race from 19th position and on first lap he was with three positions in front of other racers. During one hour race, Safety Car came two times and Shota reach in Absolute qualification 12th place , but brake system damaged and finished the race on 21st place.
On the second race was rainy day and because of this first 25 minutes the peloton followed Safety Car. Shota Abkhazava started race from 25th position and on first lap he was with three positions in front of other racers again. During the race when pit line opened, Georgian racer in Absolute qualification reached 8th place, but soon he had to go on pit line and when he came back he was on 14th place.
After hard race in rainy day, Shota Abkhazava finished on 12th place, in his class on 1st place.
“At the beginning of the race, despite the rain and the slightest contact, which has influence on the race, in AM class I was able to maintain leadership from the first lap. This is an important victory, because i won in very difficult conditions “, — said Shota Abkhazava.
After 4 stages , Shota Abkhazava has 3 victories (Monza, Silverstone and SPA ) and 2 second places (Monza an Silverstone) , he collected 89 points and he is a leader in his class.
